Effect of potassium application on morphophysiological two varieties of soybean under drought stress

Domestic soybean production is getting weaker due to drought stress which affects all aspects of plant growth and metabolism, besides using adaptive varieties, increasing nutrition, especially potassium, also tolerance drought. The research aimed examine the effect potassium application on morphophysiological two varieties under stress. was conducted in a plastic house, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, randomized block design with three factors. first factor soil water content condition, consisted 80% 40% field capacity. second variety, Grobogan Dering-1. third without 100, 200, 300 kg KCL ha−1. Result showed that decreased uptake, relative (RWC) leaf height. variety more highest height (71.49 cm), K (1.77%), uptake (43.85 mg/plant), RWC (37.91%). Application at dose 200 ha−1was most appropriate encourage plants total (1.76%) (44.40 mg/plant).
